Reading your numbers
Who comes back, what fills the room, and what the figures cannot tell you.
The two that matter
Attendance says whether the night is growing. Return rate says whether it is worth growing — a night that fills every week with different people is a night nobody is coming back to.
Both are counted over your store’s local dates rather than UTC, so a Friday evening is counted on the Friday.
What a number here is not
A figure drawn from a handful of nights is a description of those nights, not a trend. Where the sample is too thin to mean anything the page says so, instead of drawing a confident line through three points.
Nothing here is a forecast. It is what happened, counted honestly, and what to do about it is still yours to decide.
